ACQUIRING KNOWLEDGE: Challenging Traditions and Changing MindsWorking with Young Married Couples in Nepal
The ACQUIRE Project, in partnership with EngenderHealth Nepal, and CARE Nepal, and with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), designed a project based on the social and cultural realities of adolescents in Nepal. The Reproductive Health for Married Adolescent Couples Project (RHMACP) built on existing communication networks in order to reach married adolescents. This brief will document the experience, highlighting interventions, results, and lessons learned. (2008)
